Typically when you do things you’ve never done before, you’d hire a coach, a teacher, a guide, or a mentor to walk you through it and learn from their experience. Why is birth any different?
Doulas provide emotional and physical support for a birthing person during labor and delivery. We offer reassurance and perspective to you and your partner, making suggestions for labor progress, and helping with relaxation, massage, positioning, and other techniques for your comfort.
Our doula’s goal is to be completely present for your birth experience -- physically, emotionally, and energetically. We use active listening techniques to adjust our role according to your needs and seek to promote communication among all members of your birthing team.
Some examples of what to expect in the birth space include but aren’t limited to a variety of comfort measures such as massage, counter pressure, guided visualization, positions and movement, breathing techniques, hot and cold packs, focus points, verbal encouragement, and other logistical support. We also bring knowledge of the stages of labor and offer reassurance and suggestions as labor progresses. After birth, we offer guidance and education regarding lactation/ breastfeeding, baby care, and adjusting to life with your newest family member.

Birth Photography Add-On $725
I’ll bring my fancy camera with me and do both :) Between moments of support, I’ll snap some photos of sweet moments during labor, the moment of birth, and immediate postpartum with your sweet new babe! You’ll receive all of your images (an average of 60) digital images, professionally edited, with full printing rights.
PLUS a Newborn Session
Newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your home within the first 2 weeks postpartum. We take our time to document your sweet new baby and the love you have for them. I want you to feel relaxed and unhurried because I know early postpartum can be a lot.
1-hour scheduled session
A soft-proof preview gallery of a minimum of 40 images.
10 images of your choice.
Additional images are $10 each.

Prenatal or Postpartum Meetings:
Add another in-person meeting or two with your doula prenatally or postpartum to use however you’d like! Plan and prepare for your birth, or let me help ease the transition of adding a new family member. Sessions are scheduled for up to 2 hours in a location of your choosing.

Postpartum Doula Services

Support is tailored to your needs and designed to reduce your stress and overwhelm, and increase your wellness and satisfaction in early postpartum, up to week 20.
We understand that you may not know what you need until you need it, and that’s okay! Flexibility is baked into postpartum doula care.
We will meet before your baby’s arrival to discuss your circumstances, needs, and what to expect from your doula. You decide how many hours you’d like to start and about how often, and we’ll hold availability for you after you sign the contract and pay a retainer of 50% down.
When your baby arrives, you’ll contact your doula and arrange the first day of support from there!
Postpartum doula support can include but is not limited to:
• Lactation support and education
• Mental wellness screening and care
• Meal preparation and nutritional guidance
• Caring for the birthing person as they recover
• Processing the birth experience
• Navigating daily routine changes and life shifts for the whole family
• Sleep support for the family
• Infant care and education
• Cloth diapering and baby-wearing assistance
• Infant sleep solutions and soothing techniques
• Resource recommendations for other services as needed
• Maintaining your space and home
• Running necessary errands

Daytime Support
Scheduled in 4- 8 hour shifts between the hours of 9 am to 9 pm. Minimum of 20 hours per contract ($660).
Nighttime Support
Scheduled in 8 - 10 hour shifts between the hours of 8 pm and 7 am. Minimum of 40 hours per contract ($2200)
