Your guide will get to know you; what you like, what's important to you within your adventure, and customize your tour so you get the best experience possible. Along the way; see hidden gems that only locals know about, spend less time lost and confused, and be left with epic memories to cherish for a lifetime.
Bonus points, your guide is also a professional photographer to document this time for you!

Meet Doula Hayley
Hayley Shea Kocinski
Hey! I’m Hayley (she/her), and I'm the person behind EBA!
I am a compassionate, down-to-earth, and joyful soul with a passion for personal growth, empowering others, and all things birth and babies. I'm also a lifelong Alaskan who loves to dance in the rain and create adventures and enjoy life with my three babies!
Throughout my own babies' births, I realized that most people accept birth to be a rocky experience, but I refused to accept that it had to be like that. So I went on my own personal wellness journey to learn how to thrive during the transition into parenthood and created EBA to share what I've learned with others!
One of the biggest lessons learned so far; it's about the journey, not the destination.
My ultimate goal is to elevate experiences and the typical narrative for birthing people and their partners. Providing value through information and wisdom, unwavering emotional and physical support, guidance and advocacy, and tools, as needed. When you trust that someone's got your back 100%, trauma is prevented and stress is reduced significantly.
My education and training include, but are not limited to, photography, advanced labor comfort techniques, perinatal mental wellness, fetal and maternal body-balancing, lactation education and support, infant care, traditional or optimal postpartum recovery, and placenta preparation arts services.
I am a proud accomplice/advocate for inclusive and safe birth experiences, especially for marginalized communities including but not limited to; BIPIC and LGBTQIA+ folks. Birth is typically a hetero-normative, patriarchal climate and I'll influence change for the future, one family at a time!

Hayley also sits on the board of the Alaska Birth Collective and is active in pursuing client advocacy in her community, and will be continuing her education indefinitely for life.
She also participates in the Alaska Breastfeeding Coalition and the Alaska Perinatal Quality Collaborative.
