Hey! I’m Hayley but you can call me Hays. I’m a lifelong Alaskan who became a full-spectrum doula and parent of 3 awesome kids.

I became a doula because I’ve always been drawn to taking care of the people around me emotionally and physically, and am very curious about the gift of life, so I followed my passion to doula work! Beyond that, I aim to shift dynamics in the birth space and improve the narrative around birth. It is a very intense and important experience that people shouldn’t have to suffer through. You deserve to feel empowered and safe throughout the process and I’m honored to help make that happen for people.

I have focused much of my continued education on mental wellness during pregnancy and postpartum because I know that when people feel mentally well, fully supported, and thoroughly cared for, they feel capable and confident in navigating whatever challenges come their way.

My education and experience include pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum doula support, mental health and wellness during the perinatal period, trauma-informed support, lactation and breastfeeding support, and professional photography. I’m a life-long learner and love continuing my growth as a doula and a person!

I am also the Vice President of the Alaska Birth Collective, a non-profit focused on support, education, and advocacy for Alaskan Families. I’m very passionate about creating lasting change in birth dynamics within our community!
